Who Is Xochi?
Xochi is our beloved team mascott. He’s an adventurous Xoloitzquintle breed (Mexican hairless) that occasionally makes a special appearance and joins our pack for group hikes.
He’s a teambuilding dog’s dog and is very helpful especially in helping new dogs come out of their shell.
How Does My Pet Join Xochi and Friends ?
If you are interested in becoming a client, contact us to set up an appointment proceeding a 15-30 minute intake meeting. We would love to get acquainted with you and your pet and answer any inquires you may have.
What Are Some Prerequisites For My Dog To Go On Group Hikes?
For group hikes, all dogs must be spayed or neutered and current on rabies and distemper vaccinations. Dogs must also have a good track record of playing well or being ok socially around dogs and people. (Not required, but preferred), your pet’s recall should be good to moderate.
Your dog must Weigh under 60lbs.
What Time Of Day And How Long Can I Expect My Dog To Be Away From Home?
We offer morning and afternoon slots. The pick up times for AM typically range between 9-11am.
Afternoons are from12-2:30pm.
You can expect your pup to be away between 1.5 - 2.5 hours including 60 minute hike.
